BOOK REVIEW: 13 REASONS WHY

I was cleaning my bookshelves since it was really dusty and I haven't doing this for ages this is embarrassing then I found the very first thriller book I've ever have and read and enjoy and love it so much! 

Yes. I never read this kind of book but this was too tempting at the time when I found it on the bookstore. I read the summary and fell in love in one read! 

I have no idea why I haven't make the review about this book until now, I really don't know. This book is one of my favorite books in earlier 2013 even thou this book out in 2007 or 2008 ck ck very up to date Vera! 

So I pulled it out from the bookshelves and reread it. Seriously, it's been almost a year now I put it off on my shelves and rereading this book is like starting all over again. I gasp, scream and cry every time the cassette is 'played'. 

Anyway, I'm going to stop bubbling and start to share my 13 reasons why I love this book:

It's been a long time since I posted my first current playlist tag and TODAY I feel the need to share my current playlist with all of you!

I've been find some new musics - regarding to my strange music choices - and I love it. This might a bit different from my usual playlist, but lately, I can't stop listening to this playlist!

I'm gonna stop bubbling and show you guys that playlist I've been talking about...

MONTHLY FAVORITE: NAIL POLISH EDITION

I love every time my nails get polished perfectly with the color that I've been loving at that time. As a moody person, my nail polish can describe it very well - not every time but mostly it is. 

I like how nail polish can gives the power color on your look and makes the look standing out even more. Since middle school, I never missed the part when I'm allowed to polish my nails - I'm muslim and I can't polish my nails everyday except when it comes to my period time - and since those days, I realized that I've spent half of my money for nail polish. But, hey, I don't care! I love nail polish soooooooo much!!!

PERFUME REVIEW: VICTORIA'S SECRET BOMBSHELLS IN BLOOM

I've been waiting for this perfume because Victoria's Secret instagram team kinda really smart to make people curious and finally, my curiosity got an answer. 

I went to Victoria's Secret store at Paris Van Java, Bandung to check whether it has been arrive or not and there she was! The beautiful glass bottle with a big flower on her head called Bombshells in Bloom. OH MY GOD. not only the packaging is really beautiful and girly, but also the smell of it is incredibly amazing! 

It's so floral - pink freesia and water lily with hint of red apple. It's sweet but it doesn't give you headache. It's so fresh and really sexy. The smell is so seductive and stay longer! Seriously, you guys, I tried the body mist while I'm in the middle of making decision, buy the eau de perfume or body mist - VS is pretty expensive and you guys now I have a bad habit of shopping. I sprayed the body mist on my right wrist and eau de perfume on my left. for like 10 to 15 minutes later, I decided to buy the perfume then went to the movie theater. 3 or 4 hours later, I smelled my right wrist and it still there! Can you imagine how longer the perfume will stay? 

This perfume is perfect for every season especially spring and summer. The smell gives your more confidence and makes you feel more beautiful ;) 

MOVIE REVIEW: HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2

It's been 4 years of waiting and this sequel didn't get me down at all! I really love animation movie, especially when it has unusual problem like this franchise.

MOVIE REVIEW: 22 JUMP STREET

SURPRISEEEE!

This is my second review for this weeks and that's pretty impressive for me, since I was really busy last months, so this is a payback.

22 JUMP STREET baby!!!!!! I'm so excited and couldn't help myself to wait for a week to make this review because you guys need to know how I feel about this hilarious movie! 

If you like the first movie, 21 Jump Street, then you definitely enjoyed the sequel as much as I do. Sony posted the official trailer like months ago and we had an expectation how this movie would be like and TA DA... they didn't disappointed you otherwise, they made you laugh until you felt your abdominal muscles tensed. This second movie way more hilarious than the first one!

MOVIE REVIEW: THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN 2

YOU GUYSSSSSSSS!

I really enjoyed working on this review because man, I really love super hero movies and Spider Man is one of my favorites! 

I watched this movie on May, 1st - I know Spidey released on second day of May in USA - I have no idea why on my country this movie was released 2 days earlier. So, I guess, that's my luck ;)

MAKEUP LOOK

I posted a selfie on instagram & tumblr and some anonymous asked me to do makeup tutorial for this look. I'm not confident enough to make a video tutorial but hopefully, this text post will helps you ;) 

no filter. I hate filters.

This look is basically almost my "on to go look" because it's very simple and not too much for me. I don't do my makeup every single day, well, in reality I'm 95 % bare face and four eyes, maybe only put lip gloss or mascara, but really, I don't do my eyebrows or do eye makeup very often.

I do my makeup when I have an event to attend, hanging out with friends or family, or... whenever I'm in a mood to take a selfie with makeup on. Yeah, you know... 

CURRENT PLAYLIST

When it comes to music, it relates to current mood. Well, at least, for me. I never start a day without my playlist. I change my playlist a lot, it usually contains new songs I've been loving currently or old songs - not too old - I always love back. Yeah you know, we always back to our favorites, right?

So, I've updated my playlist and I can't stop listening to it!! Mostly are new songs, others are not-too-old songs which I always love and back to it after 'break' for awhile. I hope this list can helps you to find out what song you're going to download or purchase ;)

CAPTAIN AMERICA : THE WINTER SOLDIER

I watched this second movie for Captain America yesterday with my sister and we're excited because, we all do like superhero movie with that face, right? I love all Marvel's movie. Who doesn't? Despite their terrible CGI and 3D effect, and inequality in the distribution of duties / tasks / roles, whatever, on The Avengers, it still all about Iron Man thou. I think, this movie get any better than the others.

MARCH FAVORITES : PERFUMESSSSSS!

HI!

I know I'm not consistently write in this blog because I have a lot of things to do and they're drive me crazy. I hate it >:~(

But....

I still wanna share at least one topic to all of you! It's perfume. I love perfume and the way it makes me confident and smell so good. I'm not the person who likes collecting many perfumes, I'm the one who loyal to some perfumes I like the most.
 
So here they are...

RoboCop

Hi guys <3

Last week I watched RoboCop with my Mum and sister and we really enjoyed the remake movie.
I feel like recall my childhood memories, my parents are movie lovers and they have tons of cool 80’s movies in LaserDisc. Don’t blame my addiction, look up, my parents started it! :))

I was a little bit disappointed but at the same time, I really glad that they bring it back!
The reason why it was disappointing for me because IT HAS NO REAL VILLAIN! Right? I expected much from this reboot but they gave me Murphy’s personal family matter which is TOO MUCH instead of sexy fight scene and the super villain. AND… too much shaky camera!

But I still love this movie for many reasons!
First, the special effects are spectacular! Yes, we’re talking about the brain and heart effect and all CGI. OH GOD!
Second, the costume design for the all-new RoboCop in a black tactical body actually looks quite nifty. The new RoboCop looks so sexy!
Third, the sound effects are pretty contemporary for me.
Fourth, the new Alex Murphy! So, I watched The Killing couple episodes but yeah, I don’t really like it. Reason why I watched The Killing was because people talked about Joel Kinnaman. I have no idea who he was until RoboCop happened… He’s sexier than young Peter Weller (original movie, 1987). When the RoboCop helmet on and all we see is half of his face, uuuuh… I feel like seeing Batman in another mask :))

2013 FAVORITES

2013 is almost over and we're so ready for new chapter, new journey, new challenge in 2014, right? this year, personally for me, gives a lot of lesson to learn and somehow, is it good or bad, I've been through this, I pass this. BOOK REVIEW: The Fault In Our Stars

As long as i remember, i started reading a fiction since i was a little girl, about 5 years old. My first book is Snow White (my obsession is to be a Princess!!!!) Sejak itu aku addict banget sama yang namanya baca. Apapun aku baca - which is aku bisa baca sejak umur 4 tahun - mulai dari langganan majalah Bobo, selalu nagih dibeliin buku cerita ke orang tua. Dan sampai sekarang aku usahakan minimal satu bulan sekali aku beli novel atau self-help genre.

The Fault In Our Stars

Aku udah denger buku ini sejak lama, since last year. Tapi sayangnya masuk ke Indonesia itu lama banget dan setiap aku ke toko buku, sold out. Sampai akhirnya, aku pesan ke Books & Beyond. 2 months later, I got a phone, told my book was arrived. 

I was sooo excited!!! After finish my classes that day, aku langsung pergi ke B&B di Istana Plaza, cabang yg paling dekat sama kampusku.
