Today I want to share the products that I've been obsessed with. For the past year has been a year of discovery for me on both skin care products and makeup. I've been into less is more and simpler look lately. Reorganise my life affected my routine too. So, I always looking for something that really works on me and works as a multitasking product. It might sound weird for some people but I personally believe, if that product can do two jobs at the same time, why not?

Here are my current beauty obsessions.

MOVIE | DUMBO (2019)

Copyright Walt Disney Pictures
Fly, Dumbo! Fly!

Dumbo is Tim Burton's first live-action, recreated 1941 Disney classic. I love Disney, I have watched every movie and I cried on each one. Dumbo, Bambi, and The Lion King probably the hardest movies to watch because they are so sad! So, do I survive this movie? Barely!

This movie about the big-eared baby elephant is probably the most adorable movie that Tim Burton ever made. If we looked back, his visionary movies went into darkness - to name a few: Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, and many more. This animated classic felt like the combination of the sweetness and adorableness of Disney mixed with the dark, twisted fashion of Burton misfit.

Storyline wise, Dumbo is pretty easy to follow even for younger viewers. If you haven't watched the original, you'll still be able to follow the movie. You did not miss anything. Started with the Medici circus lead by Max Medici (Danny DeVito) which was struggling to keep the audiences came back until Jumbo, the mama elephant gave birth to Dumbo. Then it went along to Dumbo joined the circus and the circus was hired by an entrepreneur named V.A Vandevere (Michael Keaton). I wouldn't talk much about the story, this is not a spoiler review.

MOVIE | SHAZAM! (2019)

Copyright Warner Bros
"Say my name!"

Shazam! is a story about Billy Batson (Asher Angel) who suddenly encountered with a wizard (Djimon Hounsou) and gave him his power. This power changed him into a superhero named Shazam (Zachary Levi). I have to say I don't know much about the story itself, or the character. This is the first time I heard about the character. So I was very excited to see this movie when I watched the trailer for the first time.

It was hilarious! The humour in this movie was the thing that I'm most surprised the most. This movie was focused on the life of Billy Batson who figured his past and also the current time with his new self as Shazam. It was so funny whenever he and his roommate, Freddy (Jack Dylan Grazer) tried so many things to find out Shazam's power. There were so many references to Superman and Batman, this movie probably a new addition to the future DCEU movie. Although I have no clue if DC still doing their extended universe or just throw new movies with their characters. We'll see.

Would you dare to find yourself?

Us. Seems like we're not done talking about this movie. Not yet.

In this post, instead of an actual movie review, I will share my perspectives and understanding of Jordan Peele's second directorial movie. I found this movie was very enchanting with its symbols and metaphors. This psychological thriller left me with so many questions especially the twisted ending.

Alright. Here what I thought.
