PLAYLIST | WHERE HAVE I BEEN?!

Hello Internet!

It's been a month I didn't post anything in this blog - nor that I wrote some drafts. I know I shouldn't make excuses but things have been really rough lately and I need some quality times to sort them out.  I had final exams, life exams - lol, no but really, I thought quarter life crisis was not real until I live with it.

But, here I am. I'm coming back with a cool playlist to share. I listen to this playlist all day, like every time I have spare time to listen to music, no further thoughts, just hit play on it. I have Spotify if you want to check my playlist early 'cause I'm updating regularly.

So... here's my last playlist for 2016. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do! Xx
  1. Angel by the Wings - Sia
  2. Capsize - FRENSHIP and Emily Warren
  3. Come Up for Air - Free Swim feat Mariel
  4. Comes and Goes (In Waves) - Greg Laswell
  5. Dead Hearts - Stars

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM (2016) | SPOILER REVIEW

It feels like a dream to be back to Wizarding World. It feels like home. Isn't it? :')

What makes Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is even more special is because it is an original screenplay written by the one and only J.K. Rowling. None knows anything. So it is an incredible experience to see the film for the very first time without actually know what's going to happen. As a hardcore Harry Potter fan, this is like a dream comes true, right?

I enjoyed this movie so much! By the time you read this post, I already watch it for several times because it's worth every penny. To be able to experience a world filled with magic, hear familiar spells and even mouthing it as the actor actually said it on the movie, it's just... remarkable!

IT'S OKAY TO CRY

Day to day live and trying to not only exist, but live in the moments, we all hope for the most part - or even, the whole our life journey is awesome. However, in reality, we all have ups and downs. That's how it is. One day you feel like the happiest person on the galaxy, having everything you want and need on both hands. Another day, puff! that beautiful smile is gone, tears are running down, everything you want and need seem impossible to reach, to have. There are moments when we laugh so much even to the tiniest, stupidest thing, but there are also moments when we feel frustrated, stressed, or even hurt. Sometimes, we know why it happens, sometimes we don't.
Everything happens for a reason
That's true. That is always true and you just have to be patient, to have faith that God will never put you off limit.

MAKEUP REVIEW | MAYBELLINE LASH SENSATIONAL MASCARA

I know I'm so behind to try this mascara but I can't help when I knew this mascara is finally coming to my country. It came after Maybelline Magnum Barbie which I thought really weird. In US, this mascara came out way before the Barbie one. But, who am I to judge? (read in Kaecilius' voice)

If you follow my blog for a long time, you know I love mascara. I love how my lashes looks longer and fuller without using false lashes. I'm okay without eyeshadow or eyeliner, but leaving house without mascara? It's bizarre for me.

MAKEUP REVIEW | MAYBELLINE FIT ME DEWY + SMOOTH FOUNDATION

Hello!

I have tested, re-tested and tested again and today I finally have my final thought about this foundation. I bought this foundation because so many people like it, so many people hate it.

Let's start with the packaging. It's a square, glass packing, very light on hand but it doesn't have pump so I have to pour the product into the back of my hand. Ck, not very practical. Because the consistency of the product is liquid-y, it's such a mess on my hand because I wasn't expecting that. So yeah, the packaging is not really a good one.

DOCTOR STRANGE (2016) | SPOILERS REVIEW

Hello, Marvel maniacs!

Your new hero has finally arrived! Doctor Strange is ready to see you now... ups, quite close, guys. It's pretty close ;)

I am beyond excited to share my thoughts about this movie. I watched it on October, 24 - yes, a week early from US premiere. Again, have to say maybe it is one of those privileges to live in Indonesia. So, I watched it with my sister, who happens to be as freak as I am - we literally crazy about movies and tv series, watch too many.

Excited because... Stephen Strange is the new guy! We're not gonna talk about Cap, Tony, or Thor. We're going to talk about new superhero, new face, new story and even... new universe in the same universe if it's make any sense.

Let me tell you guys. I may spill one, two or more spoilers because I want to talk about alternate universe and connection to other movies, to the sequels and stuffs. Don't hate me because I already warned you ;)

WEEKEND MOTIVATION

I've realized people tend to share their motivations on weekdays - mostly on Monday but what about the rest of the weekend? Don't we need motivation too? What about people who have anxiety, depression? Mental illnesses don't see is it weekdays or weekend. It is just happen. Problems don't see days too. It is just happen.

So to change the mainstream and of course, to motivate people out there during weekend. Here are my motivation for your guys. Firstly, take a baby step: have a nap, listen to your favorite songs, watch your favorite movies, call your parents, family or best friends. Go shopping! Have a supper at your favorite restaurant. Do the thing you love the most.

MY CURRENT GO TO MAKEUP LOOK

Today I thought I'd share my current go to makeup look with you guys since it's been awhile. It's kinda my typical makeup look as if I'm going to hanging out with my friends, or just casual family dinner. I do switch around a little bit for my eye makeup or my lipstick, but this is like my basic makeup routine - if it's make any sense :p

I don't really like heavy makeup for most of the days, I'm concern on my complexion more than eye makeup or lipstick I'm wearing. I don't know, I just like having flawless looking skin, with a good touch of blush on my cheeks. I love looking fresh.

Enough rumbling, let's hop into the routine!

AZTEC INDIAN HEALING CLAY

Today I'm gonna talk about my holy grail face mask - well, everyone's actually. Claimed as 'world's most powerful facial', Aztec Indian Healing Clay is seriously a big deal. It is that amazing and I'm so in love. I've been using this mask for almost a year now and I can feel the difference.

The benefits of this product are very impressive. It reduces pores, acne scars, and tightening your skin. I don't have much skin problem, but I do have whiteheads around my nose and it's a lot less than I used to have before. I noticed my skin is getting clearer.

THROWBACK MOVIE | EP. 4: CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC (2009)

Girls and shopping are such good best friends, right? I only knew a very little amount of girls who don't like shopping. I believe they do, but you know, they shop less than us, shopaholics.

Based from the best selling novel written by Sophie Kinsella, Confessions of a Shopaholic gives us something simple, authentic, and of course, very relatable. Girls want something, girls need something, girls love to shop, girls love to buy themselves something new for every occasion, right?

Confessions of a Shopaholic is such a very simple and predictable movie. It gives a great amount of humours, romance, family and friendship drama. This is the perfect romantic-comedy movie, like your summer fling, it doesn't have to be complicated to have a deep moral of story, right?

FIRST IMPRESSION | ELIZAVECCA CARBONATED BUBBLE CLAY MASK

You know I never have any interest toward Korean beauty products but this one is really interesting! I saw it for the first time when Shannon or Shaaanxo on YouTube and I was like, "Okay that's really interesting!" she also gave a good review about it. But then, because Korean beauty product is not my thing, I forgot. Two days later, another favourite beauty guru from Indonesia, Harumi (MyTipsCantik) tried it in front of camera, doing first impression as Shannon did. Alright, this mask is really a thing!

I went on my Shopee app on my phone, type the name and bam! Ordered it! What I like about this app is if you shop for more than 70K rupiah, you get free shipping payment! That's a win win right?

I got this mask three or four weeks ago but I haven't tried it yet because I was so busy, then I was very sick, so today, I finally tried! Here's my first impression! ;)

psssttt this post is surprisingly contains something unattractive but very funny at the same time ;)

THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU ARE SICK

I've been sick for a week now and that's really annoying. I have so many things to do (and yes, so little time!) then I got sick, it's kinda stressing me out even more! But, on the bright side, this is my time to take a rest, stay on my bed all day, right?

The problem is, if you're someone like me, who likes getting productive and active during days, being sick feels like being isolated. Especially when you're all alone at home, it's even more boring. Hella boring.

So, what to do when you are sick but bored? Here are some tips from me!

CURRENT BEAUTY FAVOURITES

I'm bad at making favourite post, I know. I don't do this regularly but well, let's say this is my first attempt to make it more regular :))

I don't wearing much makeup this month because I've been dealing with bad breakout on my forehead, my nose and some on my cheeks for like almost three months. Well, I said bad because I never have serious breakout until now. I'm not exactly sure why, but my guess is because the weather and also, when I was being a bridesmaid, the makeup and the tools the makeup artist used weren't clean and not friendly to my sensitive skin. So yeah, it sucks. But thank God it's getting better now!

INSIDE MY CLOSET | PINK BLAZER AND SUEDE PINK SHOES

Hello, everyone!

If you know me for quite long, you know pink is one of my favourite colours. Currently, this beautiful, romantic and girly colour has been my go to. Either shirt, outerwear, or even shoes! These following stuffs are not new, I have them for months and have been my go to for some times.

Started my master degree earlier September, I try to find something girly but still appropriate to wear for school. Back when I was undergraduate student, I wore only shirt, jeans and flat shoes. That was boring. Now, as a graduate student, I want to change a bit. Giving an upgrade to my fashion choices, looking more stylish and of course, look like a woman.

I don't talk a lot about fashion on my blog because it's not something I'm expert of. Not that beauty, movies and music are my speciality, but at least, I enjoy it so much. With fashion, I haven't found my own style, I think my choices haven't explain who I am. Now, slowly, I'm getting into that. Well, hope I can share a lot in the future!

I like wearing this blazer! It's so comfortable during the hot and rainy weather, makes the rest of my outfit looks more expensive than they are. Also, it's so appropriate for school. The material is silk and satin, so comfortable and go with every colour. I like to combine with black jeans. For this shoes, I bought this shoes for my undergraduate thesis final examination. Yes. I bought a new shoes with a hope as a good luck. Well, basically, I just love shopping.

HOW TO STOP RUNNING LATE

Hello!

The least favourite thing when it comes to going for school or college, or work even, is of course, leaving your bed in the morning. I personally love waking up early and start my day a bit early because I find it more productive and less stressful than starting out late.

But, there are those days when I don't want to leave the most comfortable place on earth a.k.a bed, and just want to be there all day, basically. Let's be real, it will never happened. I tend to snooze my alarm, back to sleep, and then wake up late. That's not my favourite part.

So, what do I do to avoid being late?

THROWBACK MOVIE | EP. 3: BAREFOOT (2014)

Hello, everyone!

Rewind to 2014, I watched so many romantic-comedy movies. No particular reason, just... had a very bad experience in relationship. So yeah. All I needed that time was laugh and cry.

One of those then new released movies was Barefoot. First time I watched the trailer, I was like 'The idea is so fresh but at the same time reminds me Rapunzel story!' then I gave it a go and bam! I loved it! So much!

Barefoot is about finding love. Daisy (Evan Rachel Wood) has been locked inside her house with her psychotic mother ever since she was born. She didn't go to school, never interacted with anyone but her mother. On the other hand, Jay (Scott Speedman) came from a very wealthy family. He had MBA as degree but for some reasons, he's an asshole. He loves to party, one night stand, and all of his actions make him as a black sheep in his family. His father didn't really trust him, Jay became under shadowed by his younger brother's success. At one point, he has no goal at life. His life is going nowhere.

FAVOURITE EVERYDAY FRAGRANCE

Hello!

When it comes to fragrance, I never changed it drastically. Everyone around me knows I'm into soft and flowery fragrance. For everyday use, I almost never use perfume, I prefer cologne or body mist because strong scent and sweat are not a good combination. I hate having my skin sticky (it's actually not sticky, but that's how I feel).

So here are my favourite everyday fragrances. I switch between them weekly or even daily, depends on my mood, really.
