WHAT'S INSIDE MY OVERNIGHT BAG

The best thing about the overnight trip is you spend less time to pack and unpack! I personally love packing but unpacking is another thing. Although it's just for one night, you'll need clean clothes and of course some key toiletries.

I prefer using a type of duffle bag because it fits everything really well. This handy medium size denim duffle bag from Seed Heritage is so pretty and goes with every outfit! It can be your overnight bag or your sports bag, you choose!

Are you planning on an overnight trip as well? If so, here's what inside my overnight bag and I hope it gives you an idea on packing yours! Please be considerate while travelling during this pandemic, always wash your hands, stop touching your face, wear facemasks, and bring hand sanitiser with you.

Ps: I'm not travelling outside the city, it is just a staycation with my family. We booked pretty villa up the hill to refresh our minds. This pandemic really takes a toll on us.

BABY STEPS TO BECOME MORE SUSTAINABLE

I've been more aware of my wellness and environment for the past year, I'd say I've been pretty sustainable at this point and very proud of it. I wasn't really going big like completely stop using plastic, become more organic or even change my diet, but I've taken some little things seriously.

Today I'm going to share with you how I take baby steps to become more sustainable without overstressing it or even overdoing it. These things that I do are so easy that you can start doing today.

JANUARY FAVOURITE

The first month of 2020 is over! My overall impression of January is a month of balancing. I have a completely different mindset, I finally able to organise my priorities, and of course, pretty much get my shit done.

Today I want to share my monthly favourites. I haven't done this kind of post for a while and I believe this is the year to bring back our tradition, yes? ;)

Beauty
I only have one favourite in the beauty section which is the Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel. This product is absolutely very unique and useful! I apply just a tiny bit on the dry patch on my face and body on the night time and voila, the next day my skin is very well moisturised! No more dry skin.

Movie
I have two favourite movies this month. 1917, which you can read the full review here, and UnderwaterI just watched Underwater at the cinema recently and I really like how this movie told the story about underwater creatures, how the people survived through bad things that kept happening. It's pretty entertaining, a little bit scary at some point.

TV Series
This month, I watched a really good amount of series actually. In the other note, I had so much free time (or lack of sleep?). My favourite shows this month are The Good Doctor (ABC). I know, I kinda late on the game but I literally binge-watching the first two seasons within one week and I'm not mad about it. This series is so good! Another series that I truly enjoyed this month is Dracula (Netflix). This limited series is so scary but good, I have mixed feeling about it. Not only it is scary but also gore (that kind of genre that I hate the most).

Music
I've been really into Florence+The Machine this month. I always like her music but I don't know, her music is literally my vibe this month. The most frequent album that I listened to is High as Hope (2018). So beautiful!

App
One of my 2020 resolutions is to meditate more. I have a few favourite meditation apps, Headspace, Calm, and Mindfulness. I try to meditate twice a day, in the morning and before I go to bed. For my morning meditation, I'm switching between Headspace and Mindfulness. As for my night meditation, I prefer Calm because I can choose the sleep meditation as well and they offer good options.

What are you looking forward to the next month?

Love, Vera

WHAT'S IN MY HANDBAG

Back in May, I shared the inside of my go-to bag. It has been 6 months and my daily routine definitely changed. So of course, what I carry in my bag is also changed. I switched my Fossil leather satchel to this gorgeous navy leather satchel from Kate Spade. I purchased this bag the end of last year, I'm not sure this bag still available in or off the store.

This bag definitely looks more girly than my previous bag and also smaller. It's perfect to carry my daily things as now I don't carry much. Although I still switch around with bigger handbag if I need to carry more stuff, this is my current most used handbag.

Let's take a look what's inside!

WHAT'S IN MY GO TO BAG

This is the kind of bag that I quickly grab before I walk out of my room to do some errands or even hanging out. It is a leather satchel from Fossil. I love the colour, it goes with every outfit that I wear and also came with handles and long straps too! I find this is the perfect size for me to carry all of my belongings, not too small, not too big.

The things that I carry in this bag literally saved my life in so many days. I used to always have so many things in the bag - well, I probably still, but now I only carry things that I need the most throughout the days.

Let's take a look at what's inside!

WEEKEND MOTIVATION

I've realized people tend to share their motivations on weekdays - mostly on Monday but what about the rest of the weekend? Don't we need motivation too? What about people who have anxiety, depression? Mental illnesses don't see is it weekdays or weekend. It is just happen. Problems don't see days too. It is just happen.

So to change the mainstream and of course, to motivate people out there during weekend. Here are my motivation for your guys. Firstly, take a baby step: have a nap, listen to your favorite songs, watch your favorite movies, call your parents, family or best friends. Go shopping! Have a supper at your favorite restaurant. Do the thing you love the most.

HOW TO STOP RUNNING LATE

Hello!

The least favourite thing when it comes to going for school or college, or work even, is of course, leaving your bed in the morning. I personally love waking up early and start my day a bit early because I find it more productive and less stressful than starting out late.

But, there are those days when I don't want to leave the most comfortable place on earth a.k.a bed, and just want to be there all day, basically. Let's be real, it will never happened. I tend to snooze my alarm, back to sleep, and then wake up late. That's not my favourite part.

So, what do I do to avoid being late?

FAVOURITES | BEAUTY - FASHION - MUSIC - MOVIE - LIFESTYLE

Hello, everyone!

I have so many products and things that I've been into for months now. I think since it's already halfway through 2016, I'd like to share with all of you beautiful people! I have makeup, skin care, fashion and also other random things.

I also want to point out the half of this year is personally not really good. So many heartbreaking moments in both my personal life and what happened in the world. But also, 2016 started with me eliminated negativities out of my life because I feel, I'm too old for dramas but also too young for midlife crisis.

Anyway, let's get started with the real things!

HOW TO DE-STRESS

I haven't write any blogpost for almost 2 months and it was all because I worked on my undergraduate thesis and now, it is finally done!! I got my bachelor degree in education on August, 27th, 2015 and that was one of the biggest things I've ever done in my life.

In the terms of hard work to get my undergraduate thesis done and to finally get my bachelor degree, I've experienced a lot of hard times. A lot. No kidding, that was so stressful and so much pressure! Through those hard times, I also learned to how I de-stress myself

Stress is a natural thing when you feel overwhelmed about your school tasks, your works, your life, that's normal. Everyone has it.
