BEAUTY | WHAT'S IN MY EVERYDAY MAKEUP BAG

In day to day basis, I barely wear a lot of makeup. It's either I go with soft-glam or no-makeup makeup look, there's no in-between. Today I want to share what's inside of my everyday makeup bag, means, the no-makeup makeup look products.

I only have five products that I use every single day, they are easy to use, not too much, and most of them are drugstore products.

Pond's Instabright Glow Up Cream in Pink Crush

I love this cream because it is a multipurpose cream: it can be your moisturiser, primer, or even highlighter. Although, because I have fair skin, it doesn't work well as a highlighter. I apply this cream after I put my moisturiser and sunscreen to add more moisture to my skin. It works well as a primer, smoothing my skin nicely.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Fair

It's been my favourite undereye concealer for years! It helps to cover up my dark circles, brighten the area and of course, compliments my skin tone nicely.

Maybelline Fashion Brow in Gray

Instead of using a brow pencil, I prefer to use a cream product on my brow. It creates a softer and more natural-looking look. I like how this product is very easy to use but stay on my brows all day even when I wudū three times during the day.

Tarte Amazonian Mascara

I have quite a few favourite mascaras but I realised, over the last three months, this is the only mascara I've used. I've been using this mascara since two years ago, stopped when I discovered another mascara, then I came back to it again. This mascara is beautiful. It makes my lashes look longer and have more volume. It is also not a waterproof mascara so it doesn't hurt when I remover the makeup on the evening.

Lancomê Matte Shaker in #270 Beige Vintage

This lip product is so gorgeous, I can't get over it even I've used this for almost two years now. It is moisturising my lips, creates a beautiful, soft, velvet matte colour on the lips, and it can be used as a liquid blush as well! The colour, beige vintage, specifically is so natural. I got so many compliments whenever I use this product on my lips (and as a blush as well!).

BEAUTY | 5 LIPSTICK TERBAIK UNTUK SEHARI-HARI

Hai! Hari ini aku ingin berbagi dengan kalian tentang lipstick yang biasanya aku pakai untuk sehari-hari. Daily makeup aku itu selalu natural dan hampir seperti no-makeup makeup. Aku kurang suka tampil dengan riasan tebal kecuali kalau aku memang ada acara seperti kondangan atau parties. Biasanya aku bahkan hanya mengisi alis, pakai concealer di bawah mata dan terakhir lipstick. Mudah, kan? Warna yang aku pilih untuk lipstick-ku pun condong ke warna merah muda atau nude pink hanya untuk memberi kesar fresh dan awake.

BEAUTY | BITS MY SKIN LOVING RIGHT NOW

My skin is freaking out lately - it gets drier and also breaking out every now and then, although I'm not on my period, it happens. I figured, it's because the weather is getting worse, so hot on the day and later in the evening it's pouring rain. 

Here are products that I've been using constantly to help my skin heals. 

L'occitane Hydration Face Mist - this product is so good! I keep repurchasing, just to have it handy at my home in case I need it, like these days. The formula helps to moisturize and heal dryness and even sunburn (I once had a really bad sunburn few years ago, and this product helped so quickly!). I don't use it as my regular face mist, but I do like to use it when my skin is at its driest. 

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer Gel - I know I supposed to use the lotion one, but honestly I hate the feeling of it. The lotion feels too thick on my skin, makes my skin sticky not like the Moisture Surge one. However this gel one is absolutely amazing! It makes my skin smooth, moisturizes it well and of course, my skin is getting better now.

Laneige Water Bank Essence_EX - I like to use this product before my moisturizer and wait at least one to two minutes so the product sinks into my skin. It moisturizes my skin really well. I'm no longer have dry patches on my skin. 

L'occitane Almond Supple Skin Oil - like I said, my skin is angry these days. I literally have dry skin in all over my body and it's not something I'm proud of. I even have dry patches around my armpit area. Thank God, this product existed! It really helps to moisturize my skin. I love to use this product right after shower and use it as my regular lotion before bed. Next morning, my skin is so smooth!

BEAUTY | TOP 5 FAVORITE LIPSTICKS

When it comes to lipstick, it's hard for me to resist the temptation to buy new one whenever I go to Sephora or drugstores. It's hard and too often the lipsticks that I purchased go to someone else because I have too much. 

However, I have some products that I always reach for and coming back to. These lip colors that I mentioned are probably my holy grail lip colors, they always on my makeup pouch or the ones that I always reach for whenever I do my makeup. 

1. Bourjois Rouge Edition 12 Hours in #33 Pêche Cocooning : this has been my everyday lipstick for almost a year! I love how it has velvet-y formula, very comfortable on the lips and last quite long. This color however is very gorgeous on my pale lips, compliment my skin color and perfect for everyday look. 
2. Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in #07 Broadest Berry : this one is a new product to me but dear God, I've regretted the times I didn't try this range on the first place. It's amazing! The formula is very comfortable and moisturizing as it claimed, the color pay off is gorgeous! Broadest berry is like my color, suits me perfectly. It's perfect for day to night makeup look.
3. MAC Lipstick in Syrup : this lipstick also my favorite for everyday use. The lustre formula makes the product very comfortable to wear and also moisturizing! Syrup is very beautiful, enchanting color. It compliments my pale lips and skin, very flattering and perfect for every makeup look. I love this color because it's perfect for both day and night time makeup look! This one is really worth for money ;)
4. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in #250 Standout : this is probably my most favorite red lipstick especially if you have pale skin like I do. Although it's matte formula, it doesn't make your lips dry, it moisturizes instead. The color pay off is great, so beautiful! I think if I had to give birth on red lipstick, it would be this lipstick. It would be painful for sure, but it would be pay off.
5. Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in #635 Passion : I wouldn't say it's a matte lip color because it takes longer to dry. I think it's a velvet formula instead. Although the formula takes time to dry, when it completely dries, it doesn't transfer. So long lasting, it lasts on my lips for nearly 12 hours even thou I'm talking, drinking and eating much. This lipstick seems like didn't care and stay where it should be.

BEAUTY | 90 SECONDS MAKEUP

Lol, no I'm kidding. It probably takes two minutes tops but I like my post name to be pretty dramatic so... 

Lately I've been loving bare face whenever I go, like running errands and grocery shopping. I found with less makeup, my skin breathes easily, and also helps to get better. People around me compliments my skin, even some of them asked "what foundation do you use? it looks very beautiful and natural!" and they're very surprised when I answered "I don't use foundation today and it has been a week now!" 

My skin is breathing. It's glowing and healthier! That's the secret. Still, even when I don't use many makeup like I usually do (not really) I do wear bits of makeup and I loving it!

BEAUTY | EVERYDAY MAKEUP LOOK

Ever since I started graduate school, I like to use a little bit makeup for school. It's usually very simple and natural looking makeup not something that need an effort to do (but honestly, it takes an effort to get up every morning and do my makeup in hurry) but still presentable and define my face. 

In the morning, after shower I usually do my skin care routine first then leave it for few minutes whilst I get dressed. I want my moisturizer to sink into my skin first before I start my makeup. It usually takes 5 minutes for me to apply all of them, super easy and effective. I thought maybe you guys find this post useful or get some inspirations. 

FIRST IMPRESSION | ELIZAVECCA CARBONATED BUBBLE CLAY MASK

You know I never have any interest toward Korean beauty products but this one is really interesting! I saw it for the first time when Shannon or Shaaanxo on YouTube and I was like, "Okay that's really interesting!" she also gave a good review about it. But then, because Korean beauty product is not my thing, I forgot. Two days later, another favourite beauty guru from Indonesia, Harumi (MyTipsCantik) tried it in front of camera, doing first impression as Shannon did. Alright, this mask is really a thing!

I went on my Shopee app on my phone, type the name and bam! Ordered it! What I like about this app is if you shop for more than 70K rupiah, you get free shipping payment! That's a win win right? 

I got this mask three or four weeks ago but I haven't tried it yet because I was so busy, then I was very sick, so today, I finally tried! Here's my first impression! ;)

FAVOURITE EVERYDAY FRAGRANCE

Hello! 

When it comes to fragrance, I never changed it drastically. Everyone around me knows I'm into soft and flowery fragrance. For everyday use, I almost never use perfume, I prefer cologne or body mist because strong scent and sweat are not a good combination. I hate having my skin sticky (it's actually not sticky, but that's how I feel).

So here are my favourite everyday fragrances. I switch between them weekly or even daily, depends on my mood, really. 

MAYBELLINE THE MAGNUM BARBIE MASCARA

Hello, everyone! 

As a big fan of Maybelline mascaras, I couldn't stop myself to not picking up this new addition to their mascara lists. The Magnum Barbie mascara is the expanding product from the previous Magnum range. This one claimed as volumizing and lengthening mascara, like Barbie's eyes.

The packaging looks identical to the original The Magnum mascara, what makes it different is the deep pink cap and the Barbie original signature. It looks cute thou. The combination of bright yellow tube with deep Barbie-ish pink makes the packaging looks more girly and fun.

BOURJOIS HEALTHY MIX SERUM GEL FOUNDATION

Hello, everyone! 

It's been awhile since I wrote in depth product review. I wasn't buying too much but recently, I find my skin color is getting paler and more sensitive. I decided I need new foundation. I bought Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation in light vanilla #paleprobs  

Bourjois is a brand from France, based on Paris to be exact. It's not a new brand for me although I never tried it before. I often see their products used by beauty bloggers and vloggers. They also really like this brand especially its foundation. Don't understand why I never get myself to this brand until now. 

I tried this foundation several times before, so here's what I thought: 

REVLON PHOTOREADY EYE PRIMER + BRIGHTENER

This product wasn't new but I just recently discovered and tried it. I bought this primer (+ brightener) probably three months ago. At first, I didn't like it. It has pinkish colour, liquid formula but it doesn't brighten anything. Instead, it dries out my under eyes and areas where I want it to be bright.

Two weeks ago, I tried this only on my eye lids before I put my eyeshadows. It didn't dry and held the eyeshadows for more than 14 hours! It works one hundred per cent better on bare skin! When I first tried it, I use it after I applied my foundation and concealer. Yes, I put concealer on my eye lids because they are quite veiny. Now I know, I don't have to. Because, this primer is also cover those veins. Yay!

VANITY: L'OREAL TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION REVIEW

L'oreal is not my usual choice of makeup products. I have no idea why, I just never have a will to stop by at the counter when shopping. No offense, I never have any intention to try their makeup products but I adore their shampoo and conditioner, one of the best out there! 

Anyway, I saw so many good reviews about this foundation, L'oreal True Match Liquid Foundation that just arrived at my country, so late! So many my favourite beauty gurus gave this foundation great reviews. Needless to say, when I saw this foundation standing in the front shelf of L'oreal counter, I got my hand on it! I couldn't wait to try it at home. So, does this product really that good as others say? 

VANITY: MOVING ON FROM BB CREAM!

For every day wearable makeup, I don't use heavy foundation and prefer to choose BB Cream. Earlier this month, I ran out all of my BB Cream but the shade that matches my skin is not available in every product's counter. How can it is possible?!

CC Cream is not a new product to me. I've heard a lot of reviews about it but never tried one because I have a very sensitive skin and I don't need high coverage for everyday makeup. I visited Revlon counter on SOGO department store and I thought, "Well, why not?" so I went home with the lightest shade (yeah because right now I'm really really pale!!) of Revlon CC Cream in my bag.

I tried the product the next day and I love it! The formula cover all of the redness (I got allergic reaction around my cheeks) and blemishes that I have, and also gives light coverage under my eyes. It's perfect for everyday use without giving your skin heavy and sticky feeling.

Before I jump into my first experience try out Revlon CC Cream, let me enlighten you about this product in general.

MAKEUP PRODUCT REVIEW: NYX BB CREAM

I wanna share my thoughts about this new product - well, for me - with all of you! 

Instead of wearing foundation, I prefer to wear BB Cream during the warmer months. BB cream is the perfect choice because it has a light weight and gives you a perfect amount for coverage and I just discovered this newest product - to me - from NYX and this product is amazing!
