THE BEST IN 2014

Hello Beautiful People!! 

2014 is over! 

This year has been a really great year for me. I've been through ups and downs and those things made me. Seriously, I feel like who I am now is really different from who I am in last years. 

I've changed in good way. I eat healthier and also my health is slowly getting better and better. I read more books than last year. I got my first internship in one of the best International school in Indonesia. I'm happier than I've ever been before. 

But I'm not going to talk about me, don't worry ;) 

I'm going to talk about things that I think the best throughout this year. Not all the stuff here is released in 2014, but great stuff that I've been loving in entire year or new to me. 

GONE GIRL: BOOK & MOVIE

I must admit that I read the book 2 or 3 months before the movie released. When I know there'll be a new movie adapted from a novel and people been crazy about this book since 2 years ago, I feel the need to read it first the watch the movie later. So, here's my thoughts about both of book and movie :)

TEA TIME

It's been ages since my last tea time post and I really miss talking about tea even though I don't have much new tea favorites but it's a little bit different from my last post - it doesn't mean that I'm not addicted to Passion Tea Lemonade anymore hello, I can't stop and I don't think I will ;) - but I did something for tea like I added some milk - vanilla or almond milk - when I usually do nothing on my tea, just a plain tea and no bag out. I like strong taste on my tea and I figured it out to not taking the bag out and leave it until you finish your tea.

Here's my favorites at the moment:

1. Lipton Vanilla Tea (+ milk)

3. Twinings Four Red Fruits Tea

4. Twinings Passionfruit, Mango & Orange Tea

MOVIE REVIEW: IF I STAY

Having read the book and falling in love into it, I have a low expectation to the movie. You do know how my experience with TFIOS which is really really disappointing and makes me want to puke for 12 hours (I'm such a badass bitch but hey, I really hate that movie!). 

It is really disappointing and affect to my expectations to the other romance book to movie. So, I don't put any hope to be honest.

But I really love the soundtrack so much! Willamette Stone, Tom Odell, Ane Brun, and other great musicians in one album is too much to handle for me! I really love this soundtrack, more than TFIOS soundtrack - sorry for keep comparing ;)

MOVIE REVIEW: THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART 1

Last friday, I watched this movie with my sister and honestly I am amazed. I read the books - and had high expectations for this movie - so I knew what will going on but I didn't know that the director, Francis Lawrence added some new things.

A friendly reminder that I may spoil a few or a lot of things about this movie. So, if you haven't watch the movie yet, don't do the 'read more' thing because you're going to hate me ;)

MOVIE REVIEW: INTERSTELLAR

There is only one word to describe INTERSTELLAR and that is intense. 

Oh my God, a movie like no other. It's been around 3 hours since the movie ended and I am still reeling from it, desperately trying to hang on to the little shred of sanity I have left in me. I cried a lot. I gasped a lot. I can't even breathe well.

BOOK REVIEW: IF I STAY

I haven't watch the movie because it's not coming to my country yet. duh

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. It is amazing. I have never been so moved by a book before. I sobbed like a baby 

There are two kinds of books, those that you finish reading and leave you with fleeting memories of the attractive hero, the silly heroine, and the overall storyline, or perhaps all you noted was the glaring plot holes, inconsistencies, ridiculousness or flat characters. At any rate, it’s a book that you read, either like or dislike, but no sooner than you have turned the last page, it is out of sight and out of mind. Then there is the other kind of book that will touch your heart, or awaken a lingering memory or a potential fear that will haunt your mind so that even long after you’ve fallen asleep, your unconscious self is still wading through the details. Your dreams will be fitful and when you finally awaken, you will find yourself tangled up in sheets with puffy, swollen eyes from tears that you shed when you weren’t even aware enough to know you were crying. 

If I Stay is the second one

You may have noticed that YA books are flooded, or in this case wrecked, with parental death, but this one takes a tiring theme and gives it a psychological twist, or two. For me, the most interesting part was not the issues central to the themes of life and death, but the characters' varied and enthusiastic love of music. Give this one to music lovers be it punk or orchestral, and young musicians.

MOVIE REVIEW: THE MAZE RUNNER

I finally finished writing this review!
It's a little bit late but yeah, why not? 

In my country, The Maze Runner came 2 days earlier than in US. I have no idea why but it really made me happy because I can't wait any longer! I already watch this movie for 4 times now but hey don't blame me, I enjoy watching movies!

As you all know, I really love the book and for me, it honestly beat the Hunger Games and Divergent series but still, I like them. I love reading and series is one of my favorites. 

Since the trailer came out, I aware that I shouldn't put so much expectations because based on previous book to movie, there's always things that really disappointing. Even thou still deep in my heart as a huge fan of fiction books, I really hope that this movie have less disappointment. 

MONTHLY FAVORITE: NAIL POLISH EDITION

I love every time my nails get polished perfectly with the color that I've been loving at that time. As a moody person, my nail polish can describe it very well - not every time but mostly it is. 

I like how nail polish can gives the power color on your look and makes the look standing out even more. Since middle school, I never missed the part when I'm allowed to polish my nails - I'm muslim and I can't polish my nails everyday except when it comes to my period time - and since those days, I realized that I've spent half of my money for nail polish. But, hey, I don't care! I love nail polish soooooooo much!!!

BOOK REVIEW: I'VE GOT YOUR NUMBER

Sophie Kinsella has proven once again why she's one of the best writers in romance fiction. Amazing! I really wanted to know what was going to happen to Poppy and what was going on with Sam and his company.

Could not put this book down. ahhhh… If I was emotional I’d be crying at the near end of the book, But I wasn’t. So I didn’t. From the first few pages, I feel an instant connection with Poppy!

BOOK REVIEW: THE SCORCH TRIALS

I FINALLY FINISHED THIS BOOK! 

After a month or so putting off this book back to my bookshelves while I've been away from home for school program (it's so hard to read there because I'm so busy ugh!) I finally finished the second book from The Maze Runner series. 

I can't wait to share my thoughts about this book with all of you! 

MAKEUP PRODUCT REVIEW: NYX BB CREAM

HELLO BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!

I wanna share my thoughts about this new product - well, for me - with all of you! 

Instead of wearing foundation, I prefer to wear BB Cream during the warmer months. BB cream is the perfect choice because it has a light weight and gives you a perfect amount for coverage and I just discovered this newest product - to me - from NYX and this product is amazing!

THE FAULT IN OUR STARS : MOVIE & BOOK

The book was kinda late came to my country and repeating history, the movie was also 2 weeks late :| 

Lucky me, I'm in the middle of KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) and been away from home since last week so I just watched it yesterday. Even though this post kinda late - out of date - but I want to share! 

So, I spent a lot of time checking my watch while waiting for the theater door open. I've been waiting this movie since the first time I read the book!

It's been 4 years of waiting and this sequel didn't get me down at all! I really love animation movie, especially when it has unusual problem like this franchise.

MOVIE REVIEW: 22 JUMP STREET

SURPRISEEEE!

This is my second review for this weeks and that's pretty impressive for me, since I was really busy last months, so this is a payback.

22 JUMP STREET baby!!!!!! I'm so excited and couldn't help myself to wait for a week to make this review because you guys need to know how I feel about this hilarious movie! 

If you like the first movie, 21 Jump Street, then you definitely enjoyed the sequel as much as I do. Sony posted the official trailer like months ago and we had an expectation how this movie would be like and TA DA... they didn't disappointed you otherwise, they made you laugh until you felt your abdominal muscles tensed. This second movie way more hilarious than the first one!

MOVIE REVIEW: MALEFICENT

you guys know how much I love fiction, how much I love fairy tale, how much I love Disney's princesses

when I heard Disney is going to remake Sleeping Beauty, I was like... "After waiting for years they finally decided it!" 

Sleeping Beauty is one of my favorites (have I told you that I love Disney movies?) I have the 1959 version and almost all the Disney movies original version, I can't resist the temptation to watch them on the weekend while cuddling with my baby sister or all alone. Life is good.

anyway, since this movie is brand new and not everyone has watch it yet, so I want to remind you that this post may be contains spoilers and trust me you don't want to read this before watch the movie first.

MOVIE REVIEW: THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN 2

I really enjoyed working on this review because man, I really love super hero movies and Spider Man is one of my favorites! 

I watched this movie on May, 1st - I know Spidey released on second day of May in USA - I have no idea why on my country this movie was released 2 days earlier. So, I guess, that's my luck ;)
