ALLEGIANT REVIEW

I enjoy this movie. That was a surprise because as you guys know, I'm not a huge fan of this franchise. I like the book, but for the movie? I just... don't feel it. The reason why I watch the movie because first, Theo James and abs. Second, I love Shailene Woodley. Third, I like the book.

Allegiant is the third book of the Divergent book series by Veronica Roth. This author known as killer in Divergent fandom because... yep. This is also the third movie of this franchise. 

CINEMA: INSURGENT

I joined "Nonton Bareng Insurgent with Initiates Bandung & Cinemagz Magazine" week ago. It was okay but I hoped they could manage it better. 

To be completely honest, I don't have a big hope for Insurgent, the second movie from Divergent franchise because the first movie is quiet disappointing for me. I'm a big fan for the book, I read all of them and definitely one of my favourite books. But for this second movie, I can say that it's visually better than the first one. It's good if you haven't read the book.

THE BOOK

I definitely enjoyed the book (I haven't read Insurgent and Allegiant) although some people said that this trilogy is a The Hunger Games wannabe and a bit Twilight romance (duh!), the revolt? yes I couldn't agree more, but I can say that I prefer Divergent because its stronger characters and their motivations than THG. Veronica Roth describes each character amazingly.
