MOVIE REVIEW: 22 JUMP STREET

SURPRISEEEE!

This is my second review for this weeks and that's pretty impressive for me, since I was really busy last months, so this is a payback.

22 JUMP STREET baby!!!!!! I'm so excited and couldn't help myself to wait for a week to make this review because you guys need to know how I feel about this hilarious movie! 

If you like the first movie, 21 Jump Street, then you definitely enjoyed the sequel as much as I do. Sony posted the official trailer like months ago and we had an expectation how this movie would be like and TA DA... they didn't disappointed you otherwise, they made you laugh until you felt your abdominal muscles tensed. This second movie way more hilarious than the first one!

CAPTAIN AMERICA : THE WINTER SOLDIER

I watched this second movie for Captain America yesterday with my sister and we're excited because, we all do like superhero movie with that face, right? I love all Marvel's movie. Who doesn't? Despite their terrible CGI and 3D effect, and inequality in the distribution of duties / tasks / roles, whatever, on The Avengers, it still all about Iron Man thou. I think, this movie get any better than the others. 

This post may contains spoiler and for those who haven't watch this movie yet, feel free to close your tab. You don't wanna know the twist, any scene that I might be tell or even the ending, before you watch and enjoy it yourself. 

MOVIE REVIEW : KICK ASS 2

I HAD SO MUCH FUN WATCHING THIS MOVIE!!

KICK ASS 2

in this movie, villain nya adalah red mist a.k.a the motherfucker - hahahaha i laugh so hard when Christopher Mintz mention his ridiculous name. and i really love the way Chloe Moretz grown up! she's way more beautiful, right? and then... our Kick Ass is really kick our heart, Aaron Johnson is more handsome and sexier than in his previous movie, and that killer muscle, oh-my-God!
it's all perfect sampai adegan Mindy berada di atas mobil saat mau menyelamatkan Dave yang diculik sama anak buahnya the motherfucker. we can clearly see that's fake. it's all CGI. duh.
di film ini banyak pemeran-pemeran baru yang konyol, para pahlawan super dan penjahat super, mereka punya nama yang aneh-aneh.
adegan favorite aku adalah saat Mindy "dance" dan saat dia sneak in ke kamar Dave, the way it shoots, bikin adegan itu more romantic and intense. juga saat Brooke dance. she's pretty!
my tips :
watch the first movie, kalau ngga, kamu ga bakalan ngerti sepenuhnya and enjoy nontonnya karena bingung. dan drink much mineral water, you'll laugh much.

MOVIE REVIEW : THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES

HI! 

WHO LOVES JAMIE CAMPBELL BOWER? MEEE! 

Aku mulai suka sama dia sejak dia main di Sweeney Todd bareng sama Johnny Depp. Dan menurut aku, dari sekian banyak filmnya, this is his best, it means... kamu harus banget nonton film yang diadaptasi dari novel karya Cassandra Clare ini. 

THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS : CITY OF BONES

Basically, novel ini ada 8 seri dan ini yang pertama, aku ga paham nantinya bakal jadi berapa kalau dibikin sekuelnya, bisa aja memang ada 8 film kayak Harry Potter or dikurangi kaya digabung-gabungin ceritanya. Apapun itu, aku sangat menunggu sekuelnya!

To be honest, aku belum pernah baca novelnya dan setelah nonton aku ingin banget baca tapi belum sempat hunting ke toko buku, hopefully soon! 

For fantasy-action-adventure- movie, this movie is sooo entertaining dan bikin greget. aku paling suka adegan saat shadowhunters nyelamatin Simon dari para vampire, dan adegan saat Jace dan Clary di greenhouse, it's sooo romantic! 

tapi... 

beberapa adegan, apalagi ada adegan action yang dikasih soundtrack bukannya efek suara biasa dan malah jadi lebay. duh. 

dan kisah cinta yang miris, karena di film pertama ini (maybe) disebutkan kalau Jace dan Clary adalah saudara kandung. mereka jadi super awkward dan sedih banget after all they've been through, walaupun sebenarnya ini belum pasti karena kuncinya ada di ibu Clary yang belum sadar sampai ending filmnya. 

i really wait the sequel! pleaseee... 

yang paling bikin iri adalah... LILY COLLINS dia disini sedikit banget pake makeup, walaupun pakai, itu tipis banget, paling di beberapa scene dia smokey eyes. tapi bukan itu yang bikin iri, tapi bulu matanya and her signature eyebrows. ada satu scene dia di shoot bagian matanya aja dan OH GOD, what is that? is that real or... bulu matanya lentik, tebel banget. dan kalau itu fake, bulu mata palsunya bagus banget karena begitu di shoot deket banget, ga keliatan fake sama sekali. I'm in love!

i highly recommend this movie buat yang suka film-film fantasy ;)

MOVIE REVIEW : ELYSIUM

HOLLA!

Aku udah nonton film ini sejak minggu lalu berbarengan dengan Percy Jackson and for some reason, aku menunda bikin reviewnya.

Jadi... 

Ini film Matt Damon yang bikin aku NERVOUS. Semua orang pasti suka We bought a zoo? right? 

Tapi... 

ELYSIUM is his best! 

Cerita, para aktor, CGI & segala efek2 yang aku ga paham, semuanya perfect! Even this movie has sad ending, but i don't mind. Karena justru jadi bagus banget ceritanya, film heroik seperti ini nggak harus semuanya happy ending kan? But, there's a scene i hate the most! yaitu saat Max dipakaikan semacam kerangka supaya kuat karena dia udah lemes banget kena radiasi tinggi. proses pemasangannyalah yang bikin aku wanna vomit for the rest of the movie even aku udah tutup mata dan tutup telinga. why? this is so real, bener-bener kelihatan kepala di potong, blood everywhere. ewwww... aku ga pernah tahan nonton film kayak gitu. that's why i never watch thriller movie. 

according to my sister (who watch that scene) bagian itu bagus, too real. 

ceritanya sendiri kuat, bikin penonton kebawa, dan aku super gemes nontonnya. 

over all semuanya bagus banget! 

MOVIE REVIEW : PERCY JACKSON & THE OLYMPIANS : SEA OF MONSTERS

FINALLY!!!

I've been waiting this second movie of PERCY JACKSON & THE OLYMPIANS for almost 3 years, and the wait is over! yaaaaayyy! 

PERCY JACKSON & THE OLYMPIANS : SEA OF MONSTERS

sejak nonton The Perks Of Being a Wallflower, i realize that Logan Lerman has grown up so much! He is more handsome and mature. dan yang paling spesial adalah, dia meningkatkan kemampuan aktingnya. 

di film ini, aku rasa dia lebih menghidupkan karakter Percy Jackson, our demigod. 

MOVIE REVIEW : PACIFIC RIM

just watched Pacific Rim and you know what, I TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH JAEGER! I always love super hero! yayyyyyy!!!!! 

sebenarnya film ini baru rilis tanggal 12 juli di USA, don't know why Indonesia tanggal 11, dan agak surprised. aku pikir kita bakal lebih telat atau malah bareng dengan USA, tahunya lebih dulu. LUCKY!! 

seperti kebanyakan film superhero, plot cerita dibuat dengan menampilkan adegan kemenangan di awal-jatuh-bangkit-menang lagi. cliche. tapi sang sutradara tahu how and when bikin cerita menarik, who is he? Guillermo del Toro. salah satu film Warner Bros summer ini menurut aku sekian dari Summer blockbuster yang wajib di tonton. 

Jaeger, yang berarti pemburu dalam bahasa Jerman, adalah robot ciptaan manusia yang dibuat untuk melawan Kaiju, monster yang datang dari dasar Pacific Ocean. Manusia mengkategorikan Kaiju menjadi 5. dan as you know, kategori 5 adalah yang terkuat. Jaeger yang paling banyak disorot atau bisa dibilang main character-nya adalah Gipsy Danger & Striker Eureka. dari fisik, they remind me of Iron Man. kalau Iron Man tingginya sama dengan Manusia, Jaeger super besar, the giant robot, sampai bisa berdiri di tengah laut sekalipun. so scary.
