I'm a big fan of having a pamper night in, a specific time we called 'me time'. I love to relax, unwind, and recharge my mood and energy. The after feeling of it that I'm always craving for. It doesn't matter when you want to do it, but I like to do it every Sunday evening so I feel like I'm ready to hit up Monday.

To set the mood, I start with play my favorite music and for most of my pamper days, I choose instrumental songs - you're most welcome to play my playlist on my Spotify! Then, of course, I light my favorite scented candle. This is an affordable candle from Candle-Lîte Company. I love the soft cotton sheets scent because it's very relaxing, calming, soothing and of course, makes my room smells really good.

Moving on to the actual beauty routine, I like to start with clean face. I use Bioderma Sensibio H20 to wipe off any makeup, dirt or any excess oil on my face. If I used makeup before, I double cleanse my face with using Burt's Bees Deep Cleansing Cream so I'm sure there's no makeup left on my face. I can't stop saying how much I love these two, they're so gentle to my sensitive skin!

After that, I like to exfoliate by using the St Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub in circular motion start from the center of my face which is nose, then to my cheeks, chin, then up to my forehead and  back to my t-zone, and last my neck. I usually go shower before hop into my face pamper routine, so I exfoliate on the shower while waiting for my conditioner sink into my hair.

After exfoliate, I like to use face mask. The choice depends on the condition of my skin: am I having dry patches or blemishes or my skin is kinda good. If I have major problem like breaking out, I'll choose deep cleansing mask, but if my skin is in good condition I'll go with mask that is moisturizing or making my skin even more radiance which usually sheet mask because it's so easy and I don't need to wash off afterward.

While waiting for my mask to work, I like to read a book, listen to podcast, watch some youtube videos or series or movies, or you know, just lay down on the bed, resting my back and kinda shut down my brain a little bit. How? I close my eyes, try to concentrate on the instrumental song I'm listening and just focus on the music. It helps me to tone down my anxiety, very soothing.

Exfoliate and mask can be a little bit irritating to my sensitive skin, so after taking off my mask, I use facial spray just to calm and soothe my skin down. Then, when my skin is still a little bit damp, I apply moisturizer and lip balm. Also, don't forget to apply body lotion all over your body so you'll wake up to the softest skin ever.

Sometimes, I'll continue to what I'm doing before like reading or watching movie, but there are days I  just don't want to do anything but drinking tea. There's also days when I'm just hop into bed straight away.

How's your pamper routine? Thanks for reading! xx
