CINEMA: THE MARTIAN

I haven't read the book, to be honest, it's always hard for me to read science fiction books. I have to be in certain mood to read those. I feel like such a bad reader.

First of all, I have to be honest. I underestimated this movie ever since I watched the trailer. Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain in one movie again after Interstellar (even thou they didn't have any scenes together) and for me, it looked like the second movie for Gravity or Interstellar or both.

Second of all, with no means, I truly like this movie. I felt so bad to have such a negative opinion when I watched the trailer (but hey, I wasn't the only one) because it is really a great movie in every aspect. Yes, I still thinking The Martian is like Gravity, Elysium and Interstellar in one. So, it's like, mash up? I don't know.

MOVIE REVIEW : ELYSIUM

HOLLA!

Aku udah nonton film ini sejak minggu lalu berbarengan dengan Percy Jackson and for some reason, aku menunda bikin reviewnya.

Jadi... 

Ini film Matt Damon yang bikin aku NERVOUS. Semua orang pasti suka We bought a zoo? right? 

Tapi... 

ELYSIUM is his best! 

Cerita, para aktor, CGI & segala efek2 yang aku ga paham, semuanya perfect! Even this movie has sad ending, but i don't mind. Karena justru jadi bagus banget ceritanya, film heroik seperti ini nggak harus semuanya happy ending kan? But, there's a scene i hate the most! yaitu saat Max dipakaikan semacam kerangka supaya kuat karena dia udah lemes banget kena radiasi tinggi. proses pemasangannyalah yang bikin aku wanna vomit for the rest of the movie even aku udah tutup mata dan tutup telinga. why? this is so real, bener-bener kelihatan kepala di potong, blood everywhere. ewwww... aku ga pernah tahan nonton film kayak gitu. that's why i never watch thriller movie. 

according to my sister (who watch that scene) bagian itu bagus, too real. 

ceritanya sendiri kuat, bikin penonton kebawa, dan aku super gemes nontonnya. 

over all semuanya bagus banget!
