BEAUTY | MY CURRENT MAKEUP ROUTINE

OK, so the last time I shared my makeup routine was last year?! Wow, how dare I? My routine has changed a lot, tbh. Now, I'm focusing on hydrating as well as taking care of my hormonal acne-prone skin. If you read my blog for a long time, I have never struggled with acne before. It started back in 2022. I was very stressed because of the hormonal acne. Yet, my stress caused more. So it's basically an endless cycle. 
I would love to share my skincare routine (as well as my skin cycling) but I haven't found the perfect routine yet. So, let's be patient! I'm still experimenting here and there to find the right one for my skin condition.
Anyway, let's move on to my makeup routine. The routine is similar to my last one, but some of the products have changed. Either I found the better one, or it suits more with my skin condition. 
Complexion 

If my skin is dry, I start with Studio Tropik Original Priming Water as a gentle primer and add more hydration. However, if my skin is fine, I'll start with Luxcrime Hydralight Concealer. This product is amazing - it gives you such perfect coverage with a long-lasting and hydrating formula. I apply it under my eyes and on the imperfections I have on my face and I like to use my finger or a gentle brush instead of a beauty sponge. I found it more natural this way. If I'm going out, I'd love to have some blush on my cheeks to brighten up my face, but most days, I skip blush and go straight to powder foundation. As for powder foundation, my all-time favourite is the Make Up For Ever HD Skin. Nothing beats this one yet! The formula smoothes your skin, blurs your pores and is very long-lasting! 
For blush, I love Luxcrime Bouncy Blush in the shade of Watermelon Berry. This is such a perfect everyday blush but you have to apply it gently and only need a little bit as it's very pigmented. I have another favourite for everyday blush, Nudestix Matte Lux Blush in the shade Juicy Melons. This one is also very pigmented. I found with pigmented blushes like this, it's safe to apply powder foundation on top of it as long as you apply it using a brush so it's more natural and not too much. 
To lock everything, I like to use Studio Tropik Dream Setter setting spray all over my face and fan it dry. 
Brows and Lashes

Another Luxcrime product that I fell in love with is their micro brow pencil, it's so smooth and long-lasting too. As for mascara, I like the Judydoll Iron Mascara in the shade brown as it gives you such a natural, softer eye look. 
Lippies

For lippies, it depends on my mood tbh. Sometimes I only use lip stain, the one that I've been loving is Luxcrime lip stain in the shade Persimmon or just any lipstick will do fine. But if I'm going out and want to put more effort (as shown in my picture), I use three products. First, I will outline my lips with the BLP lip liner shade Dusty Rose. Then I will apply Dior Rouge Velvet lipstick in #772 Classic Rosewood and to add more shine, I use Dior Addict lipstick #442 Rose Des Vents. Usually, after eating and drinking, I only need to reapply the lipstick. The lip liner is surprisingly pretty long-lasting.
