This year's Eid will be very different from the previous ones. I can't celebrate with my big family because we're quarantining. So instead of celebrating together at my Grandma's house like our tradition every year, this year will involve heaps of video chat, from FaceTime to Zoom. We all still feeling grateful because technology nowadays is so advance.

Today I want to share the Eid makeup look that is very simple, easy to do and still enhancing your beauty. Remember, Eid is not about showing off but showing your inner beauty and peace.

Let's get started!

For the base, I personally don't like using a primer so instead of going with traditional cream primer, I prefer to use a mist such as MAC Fix+ than can be used both as primer and setting spray.

I like to keep my skin flawless but still natural, The Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation (shade 1W1 Bone) is the perfect option for a long-wearing, flawless but natural foundation. I like to apply the foundation with a damp beauty sponge. As for concealer to cover up my dark circles that is still see-through, I use Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer (shade fair).

Last, to set everything on place, I apply RCMA No-colour loose powder all over my face using a brush to avoid making my foundation looking cakey. I'm using no-colour powder because I don't want to cover my complexion that's already gorgeous from the foundation.

Eye & Brow

I will only use the Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Palette. First, I apply bribe as a base colour on my lid to cover any vein that is still seethrough. Then, apply bucked only on the outer-v as a definition colour. Last, apply reputation on the centre of the lid. For the inner corner, use angel fire. As for the bottom eye area, apply reputation for the inner area and bucked from the middle to the outer area.

Because I want to define my eyes more, I use a small angle brush and pick up endgame again to create a line on my lashline. By using eyeshadow as an eyeliner, you create a softer wing look. For mascara, I use the L'oreal Lash Paradise mascara on the top and bottom lash.

As for my brows, I use my holy grail brow product, Benefit Cosmetics Precisely My Brow Pencil (shade #6) which is the most perfect brow product that I've ever use, so easy to use and apply. Then, secure the brow hair with the Benefit Cosmetics 24-Hr Brow Setter Brow Gel so the hair stays in place all day!

For the rest of my face, I do the subtle contouring on my forehead, cheek and nose area just to make them have more definition using the Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow To Go palette. Next, for the blush, I like to use The Balm Balm Springs blush. It is one of the most beautiful blush colours for fair skin. To finish the face, I apply the highlighter shade gleam from the same Tarte palette on the bridge of my nose, brow bone, cheekbone and cupid bows (basically in the area that you want to catch the lights the most).

We're going extra for lips. First, I will draw my lips using the MAC Lipliner in soar to create an illusion of softer but bigger and fuller lips. Then, apply MAC Amplified lipstick in shade brick o-la using the tip of your finger in dabbing motion to make the colour appear softer on your lips. To finish the look, apply LancĂ´me L'absolu Lacquer in shade 274 on the centre of your lips to make your lips pop.

Voila! It will only take you a maximum 40 minutes to do the whole makeup look but yet you're looking gorgeous without looking too much.

Eid Mubarak! I wish you are able to celebrate Eid with your loved ones. May we meet again with next year's Ramadan Xx
